Diet

20:26

Hey guys! So for two weeks now, I have been on a diet. Like I have definitely and will definitely not back out of this one. I used to always just say "Oh, I'll definitely start on Monday" but then I just ruin it so I say "Oh, I'll start next Mondayt." The cycle just keeps going on until I eventually forgot about it. But this time, I started my a Tuesday, I didn't plan it, I just started thinking about going on a diet and I didn't want to let anymore excuses get in the way of me finally being happy about my body. My goal is to get a flat stomach, not like flat like a piece of paper, but I just want to slim down. I don't care about the numbers on the scales because looking at those charts about your height and your ideal weight doesn't mean that you're skinny. On the charts it says that my weight is perfect for my height but I'm still not satisfied because I want to be able to wear tight(ish) clothes out in public without having to worry about my fat stomach sticking out and showing. I currently weigh 52.5kg. I know that it doesn't actually sound like much, but some people older than me are like in their 40kg's. WTH RIGHT? Anyways, I don't have an ideal weight goal, I just want to actually love my body. I know, most people blame it on society but the society can't take all the blame. Well of course everybody (mostly teens/young adults) want to be skinny and look as pretty as movie stars but honestly, you can't trust what you see on screen. Everything is majorly photo shopped  Professional photos of celebrities even photo shop the model to be skinnier than he/she is in reality.

So you must be wondering what my diet plan is..
It's nothing major, I'm just eating less.
Okay, I don't mean that I'm not eating at all. I do still eat but my choices in food are healthier and I'm eating less. I have started up a tumblr page where I take photos of the food that I eat and then I make a post on the food I have had on every day. This way, I can keep a record of how much food I'm eating each day and now that I'm aware of how much food I eat each day, I try to eat the same amount but instead of eating junk and fatty food (excluding breakfast and dinner because no matter how fatty they are, I'd still eat it) I eat fruits or just drink tea or honey water because it's not fatty and it's not bland like water. On the very first day that I started recording down my food, I ate 8 different things. And now, two weeks after the first recording, I had 6 different foods. Although, my results vary depending on whether I had school or not because I eat less food then. Since last week, I have decided to only eat one kind of junk food each day so if I ever wanted a snack, I'd have to get something healthy because I wanted to wait for a good moment to eat the junk food. From this week on, I'm not only going to record what and how much I eat, I'm going to eat half of the serving amount as I normally would eat. For example, I will have half of the amount of rice I'd usually have for dinner. I'll keep doing one week challenges! I haven't thought of any more but I'll come up with something eventually. So that's about it!

Oh and also, I have started exercising more frequently by using this walking machine thing that I've got at home. It helps me tone my legs more.

Hopefully one day I will achieve my goal :)

Love,
Elaine
