Easter holidays
19:52HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Hope you all had a good weekend and got lots of yummy chocolate eggs from the easter bunny. I didn't really eat thaaat much chocolate but I'm definitely going to be eating less for at least a few weeks because chocolate's too fatty. :( Wouldn't it be amazing if you could actually lose weight while eating chocolate? haha like instead of vegetables, it'll be chocolate that's healthy and good for you. Could you imagine that? Everyone having lots of chocolate in their cupboards. But hopefully people won't be put off of eating chocolate because it's a healthy food :P
I didn't do a great lot this Easter weekend. I only went out twice out of the five day holidays. I went to a friends for a sleepover on Thursday and today, I went to the mall with my mum and Yvonne but not to shop for clothes, we just went to buy everyday stuff I guess.
The sleepover at my friends house was so fun because...
- We painted our nails
I painted my nails with a bit of an Easter theme by painting a little chick with a cracked egg shell on one of my nails and the rest of the nails just have white polka dots because I didn't want to spend ages on painting them but of course, it ended up taking quite some time because the layers took ages to dry and I waited til it was completely dry.
- We ate cheese pizza
OMMMMMGGG never in my life (until now) have I ever had cheese pizza. Like pizza with only cheese, cheese and more cheese! It's super delicious
- We watched loads of movies, well not loads but it lasted us from like 10pm-6am.
The movies that we watched are:
-Heaven Can Wait. It's quite an old movie, I think it was made in the 80's (according to my friend) but it's pretty interesting. Like, it's carefree and funny. A little predictible but it is still such a good movie! Like a perfect family movie.
-Just Like Heaven. Such a similar movie to Heaven Can Wait and it's such a good movie because it's funny and the movie has pretty good actors.
-The Number 23. MINDBLOWING MOVIE ahaha like, the ending was quite shocking, it makes so much sense but :O I was scared to watch this one part because it was just creepy looking! Like in the scene, the walls are all red and I just kept thinking that the character that's in the room was going to get killed or something. I can't handle watching scary movies though because I just think about it too much and it freaks me out. Like I like to think of the minor details so the more I think about it, the more I get scared and it's usually after the movie that I get scared haha.
-A Little Princess. It's an old movie but it's cute. It's about this little girl that's got a father that has to go to war (World War 1) so she gets put into a boarding school. And the little girl talks about an indian legend/story.
- We ate cotton candy ice cream
I am totally a cotton candy fan so once I heard that there was cotton candy ice cream, I have been begging my mum to buy it but she always refuses because she thinks that it will be too sweet and sickly which I don't blame her for thinking. So once my friend said that she's got cotton candy ice cream at home, I was super excited to try it out for the first time. We weren't hungry for ice cream for quite a while after dinner but at around 3am we were craving for some ice cream. Well I'm not too sure if my friends wanted any at the time but I didn't want to leave my friends house without trying some cotton candy ice cream so I suggested it. I'm super glad that I've tried some now because it was absolutely delish! Like it doesn't taste exactly like cotton candy. I don't know how to explain the taste because on some bites it just tastes sweet but not too sweet and on some bites it tastes so much like cotton candy! The smell of the ice cream is exactly like the taste of cotton candy haha because I don't think cotton candy has a smell? And omg, best part, well, one of the best parts of it was that afterwards, if you lick your lips, you can taste the cotton candy! It tastes just like when you've got a bit of cotton candy on your lips and you're licking it off. Sooo amazing! I really want to know how they made that flavour because cotton candy flavouring extract isn't exactly a common thing. ;)
During the days that I didn't go out, I was at home being a lazy arse by just eating lots of junk food (I even ate a whole bag of Doritos chips in two days :'( I gotta say, I don't regret it though because they are so good and I haven't had Doritos in ages), lots of chocolate (just like half of a medium sized chocolate bunny) and I started playing this new xbox game which isn't a new production, I just mean my mum bought it a few days ago so it's new to my house haha. The game is called Rayman Origins. It's a pretty fun game and it's just addicting because there are lots of different scenes and obstacles that you have to pass to get to the next place. I've been playing that game for the past two/three days and have been avoiding doing my assignment which to present a speech. :( It's due on Thursday and I still need to make the presentation and write up everything I'm going to say in the speech. I've already got the written part of this assignment up but it's in formal language which isn't too interesting when you are reading it off for a speech so I just need to change and take away some unnecessary things. Then after all that, I have to memorize it. Whoop whoop!
P.S. You might notice that these photos are already on my instagram and twitter ;)
Love,
Elaine
