Hey guys! Today has been one of the most fun days these holidays. I haven't been going out that much due to work but today was an amazing day because I got to tick off something from my bucket list! And that was to pet a cow! haha it probably sounds like such a bucket list idea for most of you because a cows just a cow right? Well I guess you're right but I've always wanted to pet a cow because they're so ka-uttttte! Today, my dad, brother and I went to Sheep World which has farm animals available for you to pet and feed (for a price) and there was also a show available (with another price). But before I get carried away with talking about the animals, we went to a small yet quite popular cafe in Puhoi.

We went to the cafe for lunch and also grabbed some ice cream before we left because they had won like 6 out of 8 ice cream awards because they make their own ice creams. All the food there looked amazing but of course, we weren't going to buy everything that looked good.

My brother and I both bought a mocha. It tasted good except for the bottom parts because there was some of the chocolate powder left and I didn't even put any of the marshmallows in the mocha because the marshmallows are usually really sweet. Especially that brand because it looks like the Pascall marshmallows.

My brother ordered this sausage roll that came with some relish and also a mini salad which was unexpected. He gave me a bit to try and it tasted pretty good. It looks like they make it themselves because it doesn't look like it was manufactured in a big factory.

Here's me with the food that my dad and I ordered. It's a sweet chilli chicken panini that was huge so my dad and I shared it. It also came with some chutney and a mini salad.

It was actually fairly priced because it cost about $30 for everything that we bought (2 mochas, 1 flat white, 1 panini and 1 sausage roll.) The food was really filling and I almost didn't have enough room for ice cream. ALMOST. ;) haha I didn't take any photos of the ice creams that we bought because it was beginning to melt pretty fast so I focused on eating it instead of taking photos of it. The ice cream that I ordered was Hokey Pokey. But they altered the name to Puhoi Pokey and there weren't hokey pokey bits in there, it was smooth with some chocolate that seemed like crushed Crunchie chocolate on top.

After the cafe, we drove around Warkworth and Wellsford until we finally reached Sheep World. We were kind of hesitant of buying admission tickets at first because they were $28 for an adult. Which is actually quite expensive but it was worth it since we spent over 2 hours there. Just purely petting and feeding the animals and watching the show that was about an hour and a half long. When we went through the doors to see the animals, the first animals we saw were sheep. Not very cute sheep either because this sheep has horns like a goat. It looks like a sheep crossed with a goat haha!

That's the sheep that I'm talking about but darn it, it's looking up so you can't see the horns but look, it's fur looks like a normal sheep's.

Next stop, COWS! The owner (I'm guessing) gave us two milk bottles to feed the cows. I was super excited because how often are you able to bottle feed a cow!? I doubt I'll ever be able to do it in my life again unless I go to a place like sheep world but they don't always have cows. The bottle that was feeding the larger cow was soon empty so the guy took the bottle and added some water in there for the cow instead of more milk. Once the large one had the bottle taken away, it came over to the smaller cow that I was feeding and knocked his head away and stole the bottle from the smaller cow. No wonder the cow is smaller, his brother/sister always steals his milk! haha My mum always gave me the impression that cows that really rough fur but these two cows didn't have super rough fur. I mean, the majority of its fur isn't that soft but they had a few soft spots. Maybe it's because they're still young so the fur is still baby fur? If there's even such a thing like that haha.

There were also other animals like:
Alpacas! I love alpacas and all but I was so scared that they were going to spit on me! Even though that'd only happen if you really piss them off but their faces looked pissed off (not that we did anything to make them be pissed off.)

Ostriches! I was far too scared to feed them with the pellets in my hand because they peck and could peck hard. We just threw some pellets on the ground for them.

Deers! There was about 3 or 4 deers but 3 of them were too shy to come up to the fence to eat from us. The only one that wasn't scared was the one in the photo below. The ones that were scared made it seem like they were in the wild or something and we were the hunters.

 Donkeys! There were also miniature horses which are pretty much just ponies haha! These donkeys had such dirty fur though! Like I pet them once and all this dust starts flying around and my hand is immediately full of dust.
There were also some pigs and chickens and goats but I didn't take that many photos of them.
Overall, it was a good and fun day. The best part would be feeding the cows because it's on my bucket list haha and just hanging out with my dad and brother was amazing!
