Hiyah, have you tried the not-so-new baby lips by Maybelline? I bought one today and I can honestly say, it is one of the best lip balms I've used. It's really soothing especially when you've got chapped lips. I got my one from K Mart and it cost me $4.50. I think that is quite cheap because before I went into K Mart looking for a good chap stick, I was in Equip and I saw this really cute ice block lip balm. (The container of the lip balm was an ice block) I really wanted to get it but it was $3.99 for 1.5g!! And the baby lips was $4.50 and it's 4g! I'm so glad that I decided not to buy the cute stuff haha. I got the limited NY fashion edition, not only does it look quite nice but it's berry flavoured. Which was a bit of a bonus. I always thought that the packaging to it was too casual because I would think that Maybelline would produce something that looks more classy and elegant. But this only means that they're targeting teens. The flavour/type I got is 'Protecting Berry' It is also limited edition so better buy yours before it sells out! My friends brought the mango and the other berry one. Both of those two smell nice as well. They all have a very light smell so if you don't end up liking the smell, it won't matter too much because you can't spell it on your lips only when you're applying it on. If you've never used/owned one of these baby lips lip balms, then I suggest you go out to your nearest shop (if they sell cosmetics) and buy it. There are around 5 or 6 different flavours to choose from as well and I'm sure they all smell nice (I don't know for sure though so don't buy it and then blame me). These lip balms even have SPF 20! So it's perfect for all you sun bathing/tanning girls out there. Even though I'm pretty sure there are lip balms that go higher than SPF 20.

heyyooooo! I'm doing the 40 hour famine. (the no eating for 40 hrs one) My goal is to get $30 overall. Some say that no eating for 40 hours is easy but not for a girl who lives to eat. nah, hopefully I'll survive. *fingers crossed* At least you're allowed to have barely sugars and juice (and water of course)

I did the 40 hour famine last weekend and it actually wasn't that hard to not eat. I admit, at first I thought it'd be super hard but it's not hard at all. Maybe it's just me, I wasn't hungry at all. I got hungry just once in the 40 hours.

Hi lovelies. A few days ago, my science class made sherbet. It's really simple all you need is baking powder (or soda, i forgot), tartaric acid, raro/drink crystals and one other ingredient. just search on google 'homemade sherbet recipe'and I'm sure heaps will come up. I know it looks dodgey because it's in a small clear plastic bag with this white powder stuff in it. but I swear it's not drugs! Just sherbet. But omg, I hate it when the straw clogs up and when you suck really hard, a whole lot of shebet shoots into your mouth. My sherbet lasted me for so long! All through 3rd block (1hr) and lunch (45mins) and even while I was on the bus going home. (10mins?) so a little bit of sherbet lasted me 1hr and 55 mins. haha and it was pretty much non stop eating as well ;)

I'm so nice that I even searched up the sherbet recipe for you.
ingredients:

3 tablespoons citric acid

1 tablespoon baking soda

7 tablespoons icing sugar or 7 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

1. Remember that everything you use for this recipe must be absolutely dry or the sherbet will not work.
2. Sift the icing sugar into a bowl. (you don't really need to sift it)
3. Add citric acid and bicarbonate of soda and mix well.
4. Grind the contents to a fine powder with the back of a spoon.

Wassup! Because my mum and Yvonne went out shopping at some asian supermarkets, I'll show you all what snacks they bought.

Hello, market day has been. For those who don't know what market day is, market day is just a day at school when students that learn/study business can participate in creating a product and selling it during school lunch time. The group I'm in consists of 5 members, including me. One of the member in the group, Rachel haha (she's probably reading this now) got her sister to make these really delicous cupcakes! There's like 5 different flavours that she made for us to sell at market day. There's also a variety of sizes, small, medium or large.We had to make our cupcakes & cookies more innovative so our teacher suggested that we actually put the cookies IN the cupcakes. It looked, well, to be honest, a bit weird. But oh well, we weren't the ones eating it and we sold quite a lot.

Minus our shitty cupcakes, there were also quite a lot of competing stalls. I bought a mini butter chicken pie for $2 and these lollies "kiwi eggs" for $1. Okay, a bit of a rip off for the lollies but it was a friends stall and it's rude if you don't buy anything. But the pie was pretty yum!
Other things that you could buy, the things I remember:

• bubble wrap calenders
• white choc m&m brownies
• brownies that are green on the inside (I think they were brownies...)
• door hangers
• dessert pizza
• rainbow sushi (Looked so cool but I didn't go buy any)

Hello kitties! As you could probably guess, I'm gonna blab on about my cat and kittens! There's 5 kittens that my cat, Gizmo recently gave birth to. The kittens are 5 weeks old (I think) and they are as playful as ever! There is a tortoise coloured one, one ginger and three gray ones. I love the tortoise coloured one the best because it looks so like her mum (my pet cat, Gizmo) Gizmo is a persian cat, just 2 years young but is quite mature. Probably because she's had 3 litters of kittens already! Including this litter that I'm talking about now. I still remember the day those kittens were born, it was wednesday morning, at 5am or something and I heard my mum and sister talking quite loud :\ in my bedroom so of course, I got up to see what was happening and turns out, Gizmo was giving birth to the first kitten! To be honest, I wasn't that excited. Of course, it's cool having more pets to play with and cuddle and all that but I've already seen Gizmo give birth twice before already so I wasn't gonna jump out of bed to watch her give birth for like hours. But oh well, Gizmo will have more kittens in the future. And you can't blame me for wanting to go back to sleep at 5am especially since I had school that morning. By the time I left for school (which was about 8.30am) Gizmo had only given birth to 3 of the 5 kittens so it would've been a long wait if I watched her give birth since 5am!

omgomgomg! This is definitely unbelievable! I WON THIS (kinda gay) PRIZE PACK! AAAAH!
okay, so it all started in the easter weekend. I went onto four.co.nz and I was looking at what different competitions I could enter. There wasn't that many but I found one that was super easy to do and I thought eh, why not. This was a special easter competition and what you had to do was to just find these easter eggs on different pages. But the easy thing was, the eggs were HUGE and unmissable and mainly, you clicked onto one egg and then it links you to the next page where the egg is. But mind you, this competition was supposed to be for kids... but since I'm a user on there, they must've seen my age and didn't mind too much.
On the day of the package/prize arriving...
We suddenly heard the carrier van drive down our driveway and wondered who the package was for. No one wanted to go downstairs and get the package because it was morning (9am ish) and everyone (my sister, brother and I) was still in pj's. But eventually, my brother went downstairs to accept the package. When he came back upstairs, he asked us "Elaine! This package is for you. What could it be?" Well, he asked in cantonese of course. And I was soooo confused! Because I didn't buy anything (from the internet and have them send it) and I just couldn't remember how the heck I got a package from. I opened it up, it was wrapped in bubble wrap, which is pretty exciting because that must mean that there's something fragile inside. (But the prizes aren't fragile) I took each thing out, one by one. And instantly knew who sent it over. It was channel FOUR. I still had so idea why they sent it to me though. It was later, when I decided to check my emails to check if FOUR had sent me an email about it or something and they did!! They said something along the lines of "You are one of the 10 chosen winners for this easter competition and would you check if the mailing address is right" OMGOMGOMG! I hardly ever check my emails so thank goodness it was the right address!!

I know, I know, the prizes are a little bit shitty but still! It's amazing actually winning something :)

Hiya, this may be weird but I'm obsessed with tinychat! For those that haven't been on it before or have no idea what it is, tinychat is this place where you can talk to strangers and/or friends. OMG! don't read this if you're under 10 y/o haha, this story might scare you away from using tinychat but...
Last night, I was doing tinychat with my friend and these two other people that I've become friends with online. I'll  call the girl friend A and the boy friend B. While we were tinychatting, Friend B had to go off so it was just us three left. There were still guests and other people we've tinychatted with before coming and going but us three were always there haha. Then suddenly, this guy called mm (two m's) came on. He was friendly at first and then he said he wanted us to dance on webcam, but of course he was declined. He then said he was naked and everything except socks haha but we said come on webcam to prove that you're actually naked but just show your head and shoulders. As his screen was loading, I was seriously hoping that he wasn't naked because that would be awkard and disturbing! Unless he was a celeb or was real hot but still, don't show waist down. His screen finally loaded and thaaaankkkk goodness he wasn't naked! Well since it was just his head and shoulders, you could just see a bit of his top. Later on, he asked if we could randomly dance for him since he went on webcam. But still no. I forgot what happened in between but then... SORRY GUYS! IT'S TOO AWKWARD! I DON'T WANNA SAY IT ANYMORE! Hey everyone! I do have a tumblr, http://e-lainey.tumblr.com/  It'd be really sweet if you started following me :) My tumblr is not photos of me, because tumblr is not all about your own photos. Tumblr is just a great photo blogging website. It's hard to get followers at first but then when your blog gets better and better. My tumblr has more bright, happy and looooads of food posts. I don't have that many followers but I'm almost half way to 1000 followers! yaaay! I'll try my best to run this blog (on blogspot) and also my blog on tumblr because it can be quite tricky, but hopefully I'll have time to do both things. Oh yeah, can't forget to do my homework as well. urgh, that's one more thing I gotta do when I could be having quality time with me and my computer.
