Snackaroos

15:00

Wassup! Because my mum and Yvonne went out shopping at some asian supermarkets, I'll show you all what snacks they bought.

First up: Mamee noodles. Sooo good, sooo small, sooo expensive. hahaha! At my school canteen/tuck shop, you can buy just one packet of these noodles for $1 NZD like wtf! Definitely not worth the money. You could've bought a cookie time cookie with $1 but of course, they made the price go up to flippin $1.30 :\ barely anyone buys them anymore hahha SHAME TUCK SHOP! Mamee noodles are so good but have you bought them recently (last year as well) and did you realize how much smaller the noodles actually are now? Just look at the second picture! The noodle is like half the size of the packaging. Has anyone ever tried to actually cook these noodles? I would try but it's a waste of noodle if it's bad. haha

How small the mamee noodles are. I promise I didn't ate any yet
Second: Egg soft flour cakes. I forgot the chinese name for them but I think you can only buy them in asian supermarkets. They are sweet and really good! Well, I like them. Not sure whether the price has gone up for this product, but it probably has. I know for sure that the individual product shrinked! They used to be bigger than noq but every thing has shrunk and became more expensive.
There's 10 in this pack. We've ate some already though
an individual one
Third: Seasame hard candy. Sorry, I actually have no idea how to translate the name for this snack/candy. It has seasame in the centre but I'm not sure what's on the outside. It seems really hard but once you take one bite into it, the whole thing turns soft. Which is quite weird because even when you try to press/squeeze it, it's super hard to.Not sure about the cost of a packet full with them.

The first bite is hard

And those are all the snacks my mum bought. Well, the ones that haven't been ate already :-)

Question of the day: What's your favourite snack?

Love,
Elaine
