Holy moly.. I just got a letter in the mail saying that I'll be receiving an excellence award. Like what. hahah this is just so unexpected! Never in a million years would I think I'll be getting an excellence award and going to the schools prize giving event. It doesn't say what subject I'm getting the award for but I'm pretty sure it would be for information technology since that's the only subject that I have gotten straight excellence's in. When my dad started reading the letter, I thought it was just a letter showing any school fees that we haven't paid (which is just the donation haha) but then he started saying something about an award and I was just sitting at the computer like "uhh... you sure dad?" haha! I'm excited to get the award but at the same time so nervous because I've never gone to a prize giving before so I don't know what to expect. Like do I just walk on stage and go back to my seat? haha I've got a friend that is really likely that she'll be going too. I just asked her about it so I don't know for sure but she's like super smart so I'd be shocked if she didn't get an award! I don't even know how big of a deal this would be for school. Like I mean, how extreme my school would go with this prize giving event. haha not how big of a deal an award would be.

This prize giving is on the 4th of December which meant that I had to cancel my plans that were made already! :( Well I mean, an award is definitely more important haha but last night, I planned to go to a concert. It's just a free concert with Stan Walker and Jessica Mauboy so I don't feel as bad about not being able to go since I didn't spend any money on it haha and like before last night, I was planning on going to a leaving dinner for my exchange student friends! An award would be all worth it though. :)

Wish me luck on prize giving night! Let's hope that I don't trip and fall down the stairs or anything haha!
